I recently enhanced our primary bedroom’s cozy vibe with a new rug. I have to admit, I mistakenly thought my old rug was an 8×10, so when the new one arrived, we faced a little dilemma. It turned out the old rug should have been a 9×12, but I was determined to make it work. I’ve always admired the look of layered rugs, but it had been over a decade since I last layered any. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to fix my mistake.
I think it worked out perfectly, and turned into a Happy mistake! I love the texture of the braided rug, and the softness of the new Loloi rug look so good together.

The sconces are one of my favorite finds! I found them at one of those overstock stores for $10 each! They are still available, and I would pay full price because I do love them that much. One of these days I may even take the shade and add fabric to them to soften them up a bit, but for now i love the touch of brass.
