Week 5 Progress
• Finished up the paint the walls this week. Even though I was only doing the lower half of the wall it was a lot when we added in the trim. And I say walls because I decided to paint our radiator which I LOVE, but that’s a task right there!
• Wallpaper! The highlight of this week is all about the wallpaper, and boy did I do a lot of wallpapering!

I am really excited for this update because it is easily makes the biggest difference in the rom so far! I see it all coming together now, and I get excited when I look at my design board, and see the vision happening.
I have hung wallpaper before, plenty of it actually. I have never done paste though, so I was definitely a bit nervous. Let me tell you, it was doable- very doable actually. The Milton & King wallpaper I picked was a dream to work with. It blew my mind that I could put up a section of the wallpaper and easily move it around until I have it placed correctly. It truly took me more time to measure, cut, and roll the paste than it did for me to put up the wallpaper.
The left image below is my favorite view from the hallway. I love how different it looks now, and how much personality the room has just by changing the paint, and adding wallpaper. And as you can see I am very much undecided on curtains here so I am trying them both out.

Isn’t it so awesome!? I really felt like this particular wallpaper would really fit well into a boys bedroom, but also grow with them. It felt young and fun, but also I could easily go more sophisticated.
