I am so excited to share the start of my bedroom makeover because this a long overdue project. You may have seen the first project I did with reupholstering the bed. We’re going to rewind a little bit and share the before. We purchased our home 7 years ago, and the master has never really had anything done to it. We put in furniture, threw up some random art, and that’s really it. There is no design, no comfort, and we sleep in here, and leave. I am really looking forward to having a finished space.
Here are the plans:
- upholster the bed- DONE!
- wall moulding behind the bed
- paint the room…and i think I’ll paint the ceiling too!
- create a cozy reading corner where the black dresser is
- add a long dresser, gallery wall and a frame tv that blends in
- new chandelier
- diy lamp shades
- new rug
- curtains- maybe a diy?
And we have to have a design board to see the vision. I want it to feel cozy first, a little glam with the lighting, and a little eclectic with the art, and details.
