I am really excited to be sharing our master bedroom reveal with you here on the blog. We are approaching 7 years since purchasing our home and it was time that we did something with this space. I knew I wanted our bedroom to be somewhere we could relax after the craziness of the day. I didn’t want to create just a space where we could sleep, but also relax, and cuddle up to watch a good movie, or. read a good book. If you follow me on Instagram, then you may have already seen my master bedroom reveal reel and before and after images.
Bed (similiar) | sconces | nightstands | rug | white textured blanket | euro pillows | curtains | chunky throw blanket |
velvet quilt | frame tv | faux leather ottomans | round chandelier | checkerboard pouf |
white scalloped euro case | rattan side table |

One my Matts requested items were real nightstands. I’ve always had a mismatch of furniture, nothing every big enough, or enough storage. I decided on a wider nightstand with 3 drawers for plenty of storage, and so I could leave the top for whatever decor I wanted to put on the top.
On the subject of nightstands, I was torn between lamps or sconces. I found these gold sconces at least a year ago on marketplace, and never hung them. I decided to go with those because I loved them, and already had them. I also liked the idea of using sconces because it freed up the space on top of the nightstand.
If you’re working within a budget, I recommend one thing that will change the space: paint.
The power of paint is a real thing.
Color: Cedar Ridge by Benjamin Moore but color matched at Sherwin Williams

Since the beginning of planning, I was certain I would put a gallery wall on the wall with the tv. Once I had the tv on the wall and the dress it just didn’t feel right to add art. I settled on this corner with the sixpenny chair. It felt like the art made the corner extra cozy.

Speaking of that cozy corner, it’s all possible because of the most amazing chair I have ever sat in.
This chair from Sixpenny is the Neva Chair in Corn Silk which is a washed cotton linen. SO comfy. I also decided to go with the poly fill over the feather down, and love that they had both options.

On the wall above I made a somewhat controversial decision, and decided to paint the mini split. I felt like with the slope of the ceiling, radiator, window, and the mini split it felt like there was too much going on. I painted everything but the top and the censor on the front with no issues, and love how it looks. The radiator cover was also painted, but we did not paint the actual radiator. On that wall I also added one curtain panel per my husbands request. There is a street light across the street so its often on him during the night. I actually love how this looks because it softens the wall a bit. I just used a thrifted brass rod to hang it.

And that is our master bedroom reveal! I am so pleased with how it turned out. I officially have a new favorite space in the house, and I may be jumping the gun here but I am so excited to shop for Christmas!
