It’s December 9th, and while I’d love to say I’m all done decorating, I couldn’t resist the urge to do a big dining room makeover! So, we’re a tiny bit behind schedule. BUT, I’m so close to wrapping that up (pun intended!), and once I do, I’ll be officially finished with all the Christmas cheer. Honestly, I love the little touches—like making paper chains—so it feels like we’re adding more magic to the house right up until Christmas Day!
So, here’s a peek at my home as it stands, all decked out for the season!

Our entryway ledge is the perfect place to display some of our favorite holiday cards from past years. For the garland, I created a charming mix of wooden beads, holiday greenery, and festive ceramic bells.

I love this tree in my oldest son’s bedroom. I also asked if he wanted garland and colored lights on his windows this year, and he loved that idea. I love seeing all the color from our hallway. For the tree skirt, I seemed to have misplaced some of ours so I grabbed a fun patterned blanket and threw it around the tree.

No place is really safe from touches of Christmas. In our primary, I did some small touches of Christmas with the wreath, a rosemary bush, and a fun pillow. In our backroom/office/den. I added garland to the shelves, and hung candles, with some thrifted ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by to check out Christmas in our home. Come back for a dining room reveal which will definitely include touches of Christmas.
