Happy Friday! The weekend is here, and I don’t know about anyone with children, but I cannot believe we are so close to school starting. This summer flew by, and I just want to enjoy every moment left. This means more trips to the beach, eating outside as much as possible, and we really need to get to the fair! What about you? What plans do you have before summer vacation is over?
If you missed on instagram this week I had a lot of chat about lighting, and ditching overhead lights and brining in floor and table lamps, sconces, candles to add layers of cozy lighting. As we go into the fall season lighting is just another way to add those cozy vibes to your home.

New Hearth and Hand at Target also launched this week, and while I didn’t get much, I do love the things I picked up, especially the clock! I also grabbed some napkins and the hand towels. A pillow case was in there but I don’t recommend. Felt a little low quality.
Other Friday Ramblings
• I started another project….I know, I know. The back hallway really needed some love and so that turned into a bathroom remodel as well. I’ll have an entire blog post on that soon!
• I’ve been thinking that we need to make a trip again to the east coast and visit Maine again. That was the most gorgeous fall trip we’ve ever taken. Have you been?! If so, I’d love to hear where!
• So sad about my garden this year. Some beds are doing great, the others not so much. I am hoping by adding some compost in this weekend it’ll give it some extra life.
