We recently had a wonderful few days spent in Hocking Hills at Briar Vale Cottage . For my sons 10th birthday he asked that we stay in an airbnb and go hiking. We spent a little bit searching through airbnb looking at some option, and he decided very quickly on this fairy tale style cottage. I loved his choice so we quickly booked it, and it lived up to the pictures. All of the details in the home were so well thought out. I loved the gallery walls, the furniture selections, and I loved the ceiling in the main bedroom. And that window seat by the fireplace. Dreamy.

The fireplace and window seat got lots of use during our few days here.

The wallpaper down in the bunk room was so dreamy that I definitely needed a closeup of it.
Did a reverse image search and the wallpaper is from Rebel Walls which just so happens to be where I just ordered wallpaper for a new project.

A few suggestions when you’re in the area that we loved beyond the trails. (which we got rained out of the entire time so we did some other things we might not have normally done. )
- A stop at Donut World in Lancaster. These were amazing, maybe some of the best donuts I have ever had.
- Pencil Sharpener Museum. This is the size of a shed, but I loved seeing all the different pencil sharpeners.
- Coffee Emporium. There aren’t many options for coffee, but this was delicious, and they were so friendly.
- Home Tavern in Logan. We were looking for dinner one night, and ended up here. So good we came back for night 2. The service was so friendly, the menu was huge, and the prices were so cheap!
- Hocking Hills Market and Hocking Hills Antique Mall. Both were amazing, and definitely worth a stop!
