You’ll often hear others describe their tablescape with some sort of theme. I was thinking about what theme this was, and the best I can come up with is eclectic thrifted. It’s colorful, playful, some new, and plenty of old. So, that’s go with eclectic thrifted.
I went into doing this table not really knowing what I was going to put together. Truthfully, up until the week of Christmas I wasn’t even really planning anything. As always, I pick up thrifted pieces here and there, but what really inspired me where plates. I saw these gorgeous Anthropologie 12 days of Christmas plates in person, and I just had a vision.
It’s all about the layering so I started with this beautiful and affordable tablecloth, and used a thrifted runner on top of it. The pine garland was given to me which I proceeded to put all over my house including right down the middle of the table. I also added in some other branches from our cedar tree in our yard.
The star of the table for me is definitely these Anthropologie plates. When these first came out I wasn’t really drawn to them, and just kept scrolling. I went into the store though, and my mind was instantly changed. They are just so pretty, colorful, and fun! I had to have them….wish I had got them sooner though so I could get the entire set!
One more thing to chat about, and you can just look at some pretty pictures. WHAT IS THRIFTED?! I thought you’d never ask! 😉 As you can see so much of this table is thrifted.
- Blue Table runner
- Pink cocktail glasses (opalhouse target)
- Coupe glasses. I got these for something like .60 each the day I was hosting Friendsgiving, and what perfect timing!
- All the candle holders which are a mix of unknown and Pottery Barn Stars.
- Green napkins
- Purple napkin holders
- white scalloped edge plates + small stack of plates
- brass goose
- glass bowl holding fruit- this is an old hearth and hand candle!
Thank you for stopping by to check out my 2022 Christmas tablescape! This was so much fun for me to create, and I cannot wait to enjoy meals the next few days with my family around it.
