I stand by that statement! Back in June (I know, I’m a bit behind), we went on a friends trip to celebrate the end of the school year and the start of summer. We didn’t have a specific destination in mind, but when I discovered The Parker House, I knew it was the right choice. It had a fun design for the design enthusiasts in our group, plenty of outdoor space for nature lovers, a fantastic kitchen for our huge dinner, and lots of room for the kids to roam and explore.
This was such a special space for a large party because there was so much space to explore. If you needed a moment to take a nap on the lawn like I definitely did, you can do so under some shaded trees. Coffee on the covered porch there is a spot for you! Pool in the basement, a hot-tub overlooking the woods.

There are so many favorites to mention, but the property is definitely at the top! With nine kids in tow, they were entertained the whole time. They explored winding paths, enjoyed swings in the woods, had a blast swimming, and had endless fun exploring the house—hide and seek here is on another level!
There was also an amazing 2nd property on site that was a huge kitchen with plenty of seating. It was an additional charge but it was well worth it. We set up in there one day for lunch and did a build your own sub station. Then for dinner the following day one of our friends prepped and made beef wellington. It was so nice having an extra space for all the prep and eating that was outside of the main house kitchen.
