I cannot believe we are already past Christmas, and tomorrow will be NYE! Before the year slips away, I want to share a huge project I did at the beginning of December, and finished just in time to add some Christmas cheer to the dining room. I previously had wallpaper in this space, but I have been itching to wallpaper the entire space. I LOVE how it looks, and this was one of the easiest wallpapering jobs I have ever done.

sources:
wallpaper: rebel walls, Sebastian in sand
cabinet color: favorite jeans by SW
dining table, chairs, and rug: facebook marketplace
art: Ron Fritts, mixed media
chandlier: Lightopia, Tilda
tablecloth: fabric from Joann Fabrics

In our living room we decided to go with an artificial tree this year, but I’ll be honest, I really missed a real tree. This corner is perfect for a tree, and I mixed it with small and big bulbs for a more whimsical look.

All nooks got decorated, including this built in cabinet. It’s so fun to display all my collected Christmas dining pieces, and also the boys gingerbread house they decorated this year. Every year I display it on a cake stand. The window garland is from Trader Joes, and then I did paper chains, and I made my own bow garland using ribbon I had from thrifting.

One change I made was taking out the 2 chairs, and adding in a bench. That walkway space there is limited and a bench provided us a bit more space. I went with this green velvet bench, and love the color and texture it adds to the space.

Thanks for stopping by to view my Christmas dining room! I cannot wait to share more of this space in 2025!
